Congratulations are in order. Kit Harington is officially off the market. The "Game of Thrones" star is engaged to his former co-star and onscreen love interest, Rose Leslie. The private couple got engaged this past weekend after three years of dating after making their formal debut as a couple at last year's Olivier Awards amid months of speculation. The official announcement was published in the London Times newspaper on Wednesday.
There’s going to be a Game of Thrones wedding
Harrington and Leslie aren’t the only couple to make their announcement via the Times, actors Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophie Turner made their engagement announcement in the same fashion back in 2014. After meeting on set during the second season of “Game of Thrones,” rumors surfaced about the pair’s real life love affair but kept everything relatively low profile until last year. Now it seems that the duo are ready to take the next step in their relationship after recently moving in together earlier this year. No word yet on when the newly engaged couple will tie the knot but whether or not the rest of the “Game of Thrones” cast will be invited to the wedding remains to be seen.
