Everyone seems to be baking in lockdown. Bake a cake and forget about your worries for a moment!

Bake a cake

Try and find something that needs a bit of a spruce up, whether it is a plant pot, a plate or even just painting a picture, revamping something is actually quite therapeutic! Get creative with the designs!

Paint something

Dive into the depths of the Gods, Goddesses and heroes of Ancient Greece! Learn something about each God and the adventures of the heroes. The 'Percy Jackson' books and films are a great starter!

Learn Greek mythology

Have you ever been fascinated with a particular language? Take the time in lockdown to start learning it! Whether it be German or Japanese or something else, learning a language is a great skill to have under your belt and widen your cultural awareness!

Start learning a new language

A big clean of your living space will definitely help to clear your mind and kill some time! Clean the house, sort out and tidy will help you to have a better mind set and feel more productive!

Deep clean

Create a jar or a list of all of the things you wish to do when the lockdown is lifted. Whether that be something as simple as visiting a relative or something larger such as applying for a new job. Organise your plans and value the time when lockdown is over!

Plan ahead

A great thing to do with the people you live with or over the phone is a board game/quiz! They help to connect everyone and there is sure to be a few laughs involved too! Some good board games include: 'Monopoly', 'Trivial Pursuit', 'Scrabble' and many more! If you wanted to do a virtual quiz, there are loads on the internet and a good website is 'Kahoot!'

Quizzes and games!

Check in with people who you know live alone, are elderly or vulnerable who may be at a high risk going out themselves. See if they want a chat over the phone or some groceries picking up. It will make a person feel like they are not alone in this difficult time and will make you feel good too!
