What Event Should You Do On The Track And Field Team?

It's the night before the meet. What's for dinner?

What time do you go to bed the night before?

This is important... What bottoms are you wearing?

It's time for your event! How do you feel while competing?

The meet is finally over! What are you doing tonight?

Lace up your chonkiest shoes and grab some ibuprofen, because you should be a distance runner! This could be events from the 800 meters all the way up to 10,000 meters. While the other event groups might consider you a bit of an oddball, you know that you just love a challenge, pushing yourself to the limits, and sticking to your routines.

Distance

Was that a bird? A plane? Nope, it was just you blowing by on your warm-up. As a sprinter, you could do events like the 100 meters, 200 meters, 400 meters, or even the hurdles if you are feeling adventurous. You always show up the track looking your best, know how to put your competitors in their place, and aren't afraid to have a little fun.

Sprints

You are the life and soul of the track team, my friend. When you aren't throwing around the javelin, discus, shotput, or hammer, you are bringing the energy! Everyone knows that the throwers always have the best snacks and are the best group of people to hang with. You are enthusiastic, supportive, and know how to have a good time during all that waiting around between throws!

Hip, hip, hooray! The jumps squad is here to save the day! Jumpers make their mark in the high jump, triple jump, long jump, or pole vault. You are extremely dedicated to your craft, and have fine-tuned your body to perform. While some people don't know about the jumps, real fans of the sport know to always keep an eye on what is happening around the pits. You're here to push your limits, compete for the win, and shoot for the stars!
