7 Most Dateable Characters

Why do they have to keep making characters that are obsess worthy?

We've all had those moments where we're watching a movie/ show or reading a book and we see the one character in the whole series that makes us swoon. I know it's happened to me and I can't be the only one. I'm looking at you, Tumblr. To keep you all from being embarrassed any longer, I've compiled a list of my top 7 most dateable characters, in no particular order, for you to enjoy and obsess over in the comfort of your own home.

1. Glenn from The Walking Dead

He’s handsome, sure, but Glenn is also loyal, committed to his friends and loved ones, and always up for spelunking in a hole. And let’s not forget how many times he’s risked his life to save his people (Like when he was kidnapped by the Governor *cries*). Glenn is a hidden gem and I love him.

2. Elle Woods from Legally Blonde

I know what you’re thinking, Elle Woods? Really? Miss Pink and Fuzzy? No way. But I have news for you. Elle Woods is like the epitome of awesome and I would date her in a second. She’s cute. She’s loyal. She’s smart and creative. And she got accepted into effing Harvard because she worked really hard. And all the time that Elle is at Harvard, she holds onto who she is. Elle Woods is freaking awesome. Warner was an idiot.

3. Joe Dubois from Medium

Yeah, I know this is a throwback. Medium hasn’t been on TV for like eons, but man what a guy Joe Dubois was. I mean come on, his wife was literally seeing dead people and waking him up every night with visions. What did he do? He got the kids up for school and let her rest. Then he went off to his job as a physicist. Smart, good father, good husband. What more could you ask for.

4. Any Lady from Ghostbusters (2016)

So vague, but so true. All of the main four ladies from Ghostbusters are intelligent, creative problem solvers. And they all love themselves. And they’re all beautiful. They rule. Need I say more.

5. Wade Wilson/Deadpool from Deadpool

Hear me out. Yes, he’s a murderer. That’s definitely a downside. But if you’ve seen the Deadpool movie, then you know that he is one sweet, irresistible man. Now not only does he accept Vanessa’s career, but still dates her besides this knowledge. He’s funny and sweet. He loves with his whole heart and will kick anyone’s ass that tries to get in the way of that. Also, he’s super comfortable in his masculinity and that’s super attractive.

6. Vanessa from Deadpool

I don’t want to get repetitive, but Vanessa is also an extremely dateable character. Not only is she pretty, but she’s tough despite the hard life she’s had. She gives Wade a run for his money and knows what she wants in a guy. She has self worth and she sticks by Wade despite his illness, his killing, his ugliness, she really doesn't’ care. She’s faithful, loving, and adventurous. She’s dateable as heck.

7. Gomez Addams from The Addams Family

If you haven’t watched The Addams Family movie in a long time, I suggest you watch the first and the second because boy, are you missing out on such a loving relationship between Gomez and Morticia and that is not fair. Gomez absolutely adores his wife. He shows her affection almost constantly, never letting her forget that she is wonderful. Gomez also loves his family almost to a flaw. He’s a wonderful man and 100% dateable.

The lesson here is that characters are 100% more dateable than people in real life. Made it's because we made them up
