Parenting Is Really Hard, So Hopefully These 7 Comics Will At Least Make You Smile

Hopefully these comics make you feel a little less alone in this journey.

Making comics is something I've loved to do since childhood. Becoming a parent is all sorts of things. When I say it's all the emotions, I mean it's ALL THE EMOTIONS. Hopefully these comics make you feel a little less alone in this journey.

    1. First is all the wonderful and creative ways your child parties on the inside:

six boxes with drawings of babies in various positions.

    2. What you Expected Vs. What You Got:

drawing of two women: on the left is a woman with long, flowy hair and a flowy dress that says "what you planned for, vs the drawing on the right of a woman with a high messy bun and short dress that says "what you got"

    3. The Blanket of Escapism:

four boxes with drawings of a mom and child, who is under a blanket

    4. This Specimen is known as "Sleeplossicus Deprevatidon":

drawing of a woman wearing a t-shirt and jeans, holding a baby.

    5. Carrying a Haunted Surfboard is a parenting right of passage:

drawing of a woman holding a baby on its side, like a surfboard.

    6. If it means I don't have to think about anything for two seconds, I'll take it:

a drawing of a toddler sitting on a mom's head as she lays down for a nap.

    7. At the end of the day, we're all doing our best <3:

a drawing of two women, back-to-back, each with a toddler in their lap
