Apple TV+'s Shining Girls is the latest thriller from the streaming platform that has succeeded in filling the void left by Severance. The show, based on a 2013 novel of the same name, follows a newspaper archivist who starts experiencing altered realities after being attacked by a serial killer.
She then allies with an alcoholic journalist at her newspaper, Chicago Sun-Times, to track this killer whose desire for murdering women is still fervent.
