The latest fruit from Coben's tree flowering in Netflix's garden is Hold Tight. It's a mystery crime thriller that unwraps over six episodes to finally reveal the depth of decay and decadence that has set in the modern society. The series is a Polish production and was filmed in Polish with subtitles or dubbing for English speakers.
The show starts with a missing 18-year-old boy whose body is later discovered among dumpsters. One of his friends is unusually affected by this tragedy, and soon he too goes missing. This obliges his smothering and controlling mother to set out on the road of investigation.
