6 Struggles That Millennial Parents Will Understand

Being a parent is hard, but being a Millennial Parent is bat shit crazy....W are all just trying not to mess up our kids and fail as parents, but if we do we have it on Instagram!

2. Your child's Instagram photos are better than yours.

Give me a kissy face, duck face and preschool attitude... The results my child's photo has more likes than all my car selfies put together. Which makes me question my whole Instagram existence

3. Your Child has their fashion sense and a closet to match

When I was 5 years old I had 2 pair of shoes, and a small basket of clothes. Now my kid has a basket overflowing of shoes, her own closet full of clothes and apparently nothing to wear!

4. Your child is more self aware

I thought it would be fun to take "Mommy and me yoga," but I didn't think my daughter would take it so seriously. Now she has a yoga membership and I'm still struggling to work out once a week.

5. Your child has mastered SnapChat

I still don't know WTF I'm doing on SnapChat. My child found new filters, edited herself, zoomed in and out and put together a whole video production in 10 seconds.... and sent it to all five of my followers. Ok maybe we will need that college fund after all my kid is a genius!

6. Pinterest Birthday

Every year I carefully plan out my kids ideal birthday party by pinning DIY ideas, themes and cakes on Pinterest. But every year reality sets in and I realize I don't have time to make 15 unicorn headbands, put together a desert table or create those crafty party favors. So I hit up Party City, Walmart and the 99 cent store and throw a "Barbie, Hello Kitty, Paw Patrol/Super Hero Party." whatever... maybe next year..
