Relationship rules are widely debated – we've all heard opinions on the "right" way to do things.
Pretty much everyone will at some point get unsolicited advice on the supposed ~unspoken rules~ of relationships.
But there are some stereotypes that benefit no-one, so tell us: which relationship expectations do you find completely unnecessary?
Do you hate the thought of staying in a relationship “for the sake of the kids”, even though the kids can tell their parents hate each other and grow up thinking that's how relationships are supposed to be?
Or maybe you don't get why marriage should be every couple's goal when spouses are constantly depicted as being miserably "tied down" and arguing constantly.
Perhaps you hate being asked which of you is "the man" in the relationship, because apparently there has to be one...
