Fortunately, the two are active on social media so we still get to see them and keep up with their lives. Today, Michelle Obama posted this precious throwback of their wedding day, revealing that Barack was actually sick that morning.
"You can’t tell it from this photo, but Barack woke up on our wedding day in October, 1992 with a nasty head cold," she wrote in the caption. "Somehow, by the time I met him at the altar, it had miraculously disappeared and we ended up dancing almost all night."
She shared that they're still having fun, 25 years later, while working to build their marriage and each other as individuals. "I can’t imagine going on this wild ride with anybody else," our former FLOTUS ended.
First of all, we can't stop crying. Second of all, the sight of Michelle Obama at an altar low-key has the power to heal sickness.
