You've seen Selena, back in 1997 when it first came out and about 100 times after that.
And yet, every time you get to the ending and hear Selena sing "Dreaming of You," it's as if you're seeing it all for the first time.

Because the tears just keep coming.
The eyes start to burn the moment you see Selena try to catch this rose.
And then there are the awful flashes of Selena being taken into the ambulance, and you know what's coming.
The first tear falls when she drops the ring Yolanda gave her.
And then you see the empty stage. The one she performed on. The one she dreamed of.
If you're not completely in tears by now, the hospital scene will do it to you. And it doesn't help that "Dreaming of You" comes back into the scene.
Because while we all lost Selena, remembering that her family lost her too will make your eyes pour out all the tears.
So for everyone who still cries at the end of Selena, you are not alone.
Definitely not alone.
And there likely won't ever come a time when you watch this biopic and don't go through a box of tissues.
