    Here's How To Slice An Aloe Vera Leaf

    So simple, yet so satisfying.

    If you have an interest in natural remedies, it's likely that you're familiar with (and probably a little intimidated by) fresh aloe vera.

    Luckily, removing aloe gel from a freshly cut leaf isn't as hard as you might imagine. With a little practice and patience, you can unravel the wonders of this nifty — and tbh, sorta scary looking — plant.

    1. Start by removing the tip of the leaf.

    2. Next, slice off the spikes on both sides.

    3. And finally, remove the skin layers on the top and bottom of the leaf.

    4. Now, go enjoy your fresh aloe vera!
