Before we crown our winner and kiss goodbye to Australia’s 2020 Big Brother reboot, we figured we should rank all of the players of the ultimate game. Do you agree with our order? Comment below!

20. Laura

Let’s be honest, did we even see that much of her? She was fierce, competitive and determined. Good for her for going in and giving it a go.

19. Danni

We didn’t see a lot of Danni, she probably would’ve ranked higher if we had the chance, beyond the two minutes shown of her facing her fear of bubbles. She was the unfortunate victim during Kieran’s plan to get her out. We’re shocked it worked and didn’t backfire on him!

18. Allan

We all loved to hate Allan and his openness about strategy. He was definitely one of the most entertaining housemates in the first week. Come on though, I would’ve liked to see who his alliances blossomed with.

Our mum from Melbourne. Her souvlaki might have saved her from the first eviction, and we’re disappointed we didn’t get to see her “relaxed side” before she walked out the door. A target grew on her back, as she started winning challenges. Who could forget her refusal to purchase black tea, or not letting Sarah get a word in when they were supposed to reach a unanimous nominations decision? Not even her own clique stood by her in the end.

16. Talia

The overly edited stereotyped blonde, with a kick of competitive spirit. We just can’t forget that she was behind some of the most memorable gameplay moves. She was a bold player and took the hit when the other alphas hid behind her. In saying that, we were all secretly cheering when Angela got her out.

It’s a pity all the boys were so intimidated, this physical superman definitely deserved a longer run on the show. We didn’t even get to see him win a challenge!

14. Mat

Being from Broken Hill is his strongest personality trait according to the others. Funny and likeable from the beginning, which probably changed when he turned into more of a head than the neck he intended to be. Unfortunately for him, being one half of the bromance has seen his venomous side come out, on more than one occasion.

13. Xavier

Our favourite background boy. Good looks, great smile, popular, and unfortunately, not a lot of air time. Who could forget when he spilled the tea seconds the before housemates voted to send Garth home? His competitiveness came out during the balloon challenge and we wish we saw that more.

Unfortunately editing hid her behind the alphas until the end of her stint, when her independence started to ignite. She gave people second chances and saw housemates as her friends instead of enemies. I know she spent a lot of time tanning, but her one liners and dairy room commentary was classic. Schmooze ‘em or lose ‘em!

11. Dan

Love or hate him, he’s a competitive snake and not a man of his word. Top 4 pact? Top 3 pact? Then break the pact? He and Mat together are dangerous. Despite all that, we can’t overlook his unlikely friendship with Iain, it was lovely to see his compassionate side while it lasted.

10. Shane

Yes, he blended in at the beginning, but let’s be real, Shane wasn’t chicken when it came to nominations and faced the alpha clan head on. He should be commended for that effort where others didn’t have the guts. Unfortunately for him, he missed his shot and it bounced straight back. We were sorry to see him go.

Another star that we just didn’t get to see shine. Ambitious, funny, sweet and confident. Definitely a friend you’d want to have. She left us wanting more! If only she had the chance to make her big nomination move against the boys.

Physically astounding and fun to watch, she played her own game and it was a pity to see her fall. Supportive of the other women but cutthroat when she needed to be, I mean, voting for Angie? Who saw that coming?

Kieran, Kieran, Kieran. Maybe Adelaide’s worst driver but one of BB’s best game players. He managed to turn Garth and most of the house to send Danni out the front door. That was just one of his many moves, he’s not near as “thick” as what the others expected. We loved watching him as the powerful swing voter, someone everyone completely underestimated when he went in. Maybe he was the biggest winner at the end of the day - bagging the cash at the end of the white room challenge

6. Garth

Everyone’s favourite Aunty, underrated challenge beast who came in to win his first nomination challenge, and swooped to score an advantage in an aggressive race to the diary room against Kieran. Who could forget when he was almost caught out by Zoe in the Sunday Roast secret entrance mission? His chatterbox qualities just upped his game play. He had Allan evicted within two days of being in the house. He knew his targets and he went for them. Until Xavier blew off his case, he was one of the most powerful in the game.

5. Ian

From Day 1, Ian stole our hearts. It would have been great to see him go further. We’re glad he won a challenge and made some friends in the house. His bromance with Dan? Unexpected but cute to watch. Spoon player, animal lover, and just a great person, what more could you want in a housemate?

This is her dream! 100% smitten but I almost wish we saw more of her without Chad. She was uncertain about Dan and Mat being genuine and wound up pretty accurate. Everyone’s favourite comeback queen, defeating the white room to regain her spot in the house. She’s strong and powerful when it comes to challenges, but still has a vulnerable side to her which we can all relate to.

3. Chad

Everyone’s favourite “International Model” and half of the romance. Maybe he’s smarter than we’ve ever given him credit for. Incredibly likeable and genuine, one of the boys but one of the underdogs. More than anything, he has a really big heart. Beyond agreements and relationships, he’s kind to everyone in the house. If you didn’t love him enough already, he’s doing this for his Mum.

2. Sarah

Small but mighty, this teen is a very popular, genuine housemate which saved her from nominations until the bromance and romance collided in the top 5. The love she has for everyone in the house says a lot about her character. She’s hilarious, kind, fair, totally underestimated and responsible for some of the greatest moments we’ve watched. Seeing her as one of the most powerful voting players intrigued us all. We’re sad to see her fall at one of the final hurdles.

All hail the queen of BB2020. Our English Breakfast tea drinking monarch. Probably the most unexpected challenge beast, morphing into the ultimate game player. Who else could be eliminated and manipulate the next eviction all from inside a tiny room with no windows? Then to come back in and survive even longer? Loyal, funny, entertaining, and unfairly manipulated by the boys. We were sad to see her go! Remember BB, this was Angela’s house.
