    You're probably familiar with the popular and catchy song from 1956 "Why Do Fools Fall In Love?", but did you know the song's complicated history?

    1. The front runner of the group the Teenagers, Frankie Lymon, was only 13 years old when the song was released.

    2. The Teenagers was a mixed race group, made up of three African-Americans and two Puerto Ricans.

    3. In 1957, Lymon left the Teenagers to pursue a solo career, which was not nearly as successful as his career with the group.

    4. Lymon had been experiencing with drugs, specifically heroin, since 1958. In 1961, he was released from his contract and began a rehab program.

    5. In 1981, there was a huge controversy concerning Lymon's royalties and rights to his song "Why Do Fools Fall In Love?". Each of Lymon's three former wives claimed to be his rightful widow and therefore deserving possession of his copyrights.
