For the most part, Jennifer Lawrence isn't on social media. But if your next TikTok video goes viral, it's possible the actor will see it.
Jennifer's internet footprint is pretty small. She doesn't have an Instagram account and once vowed to "never get Twitter" in an interview with BBC Radio 1, claiming that she's "not very good on phone or technology."
That was years ago, and Jennifer did technically join Twitter — her account mainly focuses on advocacy and is affiliated with the organization RepresentUs, where she's on the board of directors — since then. It sounds like the Oscar winner has also developed a personal fondness for at least one social networking app, as she explained during an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
After portions of her chat with Colbert aired last month, a segment where she answered rapid-fire questions from the host was featured in this week's episode.
One inquired about the "most-used app" on Jennifer's phone. "Oh, God, I hate the answer," she replied. "But TikTok, yeah."
Don't bother searching for Jennifer's name on the video sharing app, though, because you won't find anything. "I don't make TikToks!" she clarified on The Late Show, adding, "Oh my god, can you imagine? No. No."
Stephen noted that the rest of us would likely tune in if Jennifer were to start creating content using a public-facing TikTok profile. "Oh, I know," she said, but it doesn't seem like that's going to happen right now.
