Harry Styles Incorporated A Quote From "The Notebook" Into His Dating Advice For A Fan Wondering, "Should I Text Him?" And It Was Kind Of Perfect

"If there's any sort of games, trash, trash, trash, not for you."

If you haven't heard, Harry Styles is performing live again.

Love on Tour — the artist's first concert series in almost two years — is well underway, and he appears to be making the most of his long-anticipated reunion with fans. Harry's shows now include personalized romance insights, in addition to tracks from his latest album, Fine Line.

Case in point: The "Watermelon Sugar" singer literally paused one of his sets in St. Paul, Minnesota, the other night for a brief but memorable interlude that gave pretty accurate dating advice to an attendee.

The audience member was apparently holding a sign that read, "Should I text him?" When it caught Harry's eye, he literally answered the question onstage.

His response began with an important follow-up question. "Is he nice to you?" Harry asked.

"In my opinion, if you should [text him], this isn't even a question," he continued. "If we're wondering, 'Should I text him? Should I not text him? I can't text him too soon.' Now we're thinking about double texting, and that's a whole different risky business."

"My personal opinion is that if there's any sort of games, trash, trash, trash, not for you," he finished. And to anyone feeling as though his wisdom sounds a bit familiar — it's actually a repurposed quote from The Notebook. Naturally, the audience went wild.

“should i text him?” TRASH TRASH TRASH!! @Harry_Styles
