Here's What The "Arthur" Cast Looks Like All Grown Up In The Beloved Show's Series Finale

I'm feeling a lot of things right now!

If you watched children's programming any time after the fall of 1996, then I'll assume you've probably seen Arthur. At one point or another, many of us were big fans.

The beloved PBS series — which is also the longest-running animated children's show on television — was a crowd favorite back in the day. Arthur maintained both its popularity and acclaim for several decades, winning Emmys, BAFTAs, and Peabody Awards along the way.

After 25 seasons, Arthur finally bid us goodbye this week. When the finale aired on PBS Kids yesterday, it mainly focused on a storyline featuring the characters we know and love. But the episode's final moments included a flash-forward sequence, which showed the Arthur kids as grown-ups 20 years into the future.

I'm pleased to report that each of them is thriving in adulthood. Arthur, equipped with his signature glasses and a touch of facial hair, now works as a graphic novelist.

His pal, Buster, teaches English. Look at those lapels.

Muffy is finding her footing in local government races and is running for Mayor of Elmwood.

Francine's undergone a fabulous style transformation and is now designing shoes...

...while George owns the town's dessert spot, The Sugar Bowl...

    ...and Binky anchors its newcasts.

D.W. works as a traffic officer. In the finale she sticks another Arthur friend, Bud, with a parking ticket.
