Pregnant British YouTuber Nicole Thea has died aged 24 along with her unborn son.
Thea's mother announced the news on the influencer's Instagram page on Sunday afternoon, adding that Thea and her partner, Global Boga, had planned to name their baby Reign.
"To all Nicole's friends and supporters, it's with great sadness that I have to inform you that Nicole and her son she and Boga named Reign sadly passed away on Saturday morning."
"As a family we ask that you give us privacy because our hearts are truly broken and we are struggling to cope with what has happened," the statement went on. "My beautiful baby girl ... and my grandson Reign, I will miss you for the rest of my life."
Thea was reportedly weeks away from her due date when she died, but the cause of death remains unclear.
Thea had documented much of her pregnancy in a series of photos and YouTube videos, the most recent of which was published just minutes before her death was announced.
The video, which followed Thea behind the scenes at a pregnancy photo shoot, showed her dancing with Boga and expressing excitement over becoming a mother.
