T.I.'s Wife Rolled Her Eyes In Response To Concern Over His Daughter After The Hymen Controversy

Tameka "Tiny" Harris's comment comes just days after Deyjah unfollowed both her and T.I. on social media.

Last week, rapper T.I. found himself the subject of a huge backlash after making comments about his 18-year-old daughter's hymen.

Speaking during an appearance on the Ladies Like Us podcast, T.I. revealed that not only has he "had the sex talk" with Deyjah, but accompanies her to annual gynaecologist appointments to "check her hymen is still intact".

He also explained that he ignores doctors who have informed him that the hymen can be broken in ways other than sexual penetration.

"I will say, as of her 18th birthday, her hymen is still intact," T.I. added.

The comments caused immediate outrage with everyone from fans to qualified doctors and charities like Planned Parenthood expressing shock and disgust.

So instead of celebrating the fact that his child lived another year, TI spends his time hyper-fixating on whether or not her hymen is intact? This is so overwhelmingly weird and toxic and he needs to be stopped

Many people pointed out that "virginity" is a social construct, and the physical appearance of a woman's hymen cannot determine whether or not she's had sex.

Others added that "virginity testing" is widely considered an unnecessarily invasive practice that has no medical benefit and causes profound psychological distress on its subjects.

While the hosts of the podcast have since apologised and removed it from the internet, T.I. hasn't yet spoken out about the controversy. However, his wife, Tameka "Tiny" Harris, appears to have now responded to the widespread concern for her step-daughter.

Yesterday, Tiny shared a photo of herself with T.I. alongside a caption reading "Mi amor por siempre."

And it didn't take long before people began leaving comments referencing the backlash, including this one which asked how Deyjah was doing.

However, surprisingly, Tiny's only response was a series of eye-rolling emojis.

People were quick to call Tiny out, asking what her comment meant and why she'd even responded if she didn't intend to update fans.

The comment comes just days after Deyjah liked a series of tweets branding her father's behaviour "disgusting", "possessive", and "controlling".

And she went on to unfollow both him and Tiny completely across all social media.

A spokesperson for T.I. and Tiny has been contacted for comment.
