Just a couple of weeks ago, Pink was forced to respond to a person who left a comment criticising her for sharing a photo of her family having dinner together.
In her response, Pink branded the guy a “douchebag” and a “fucko”, which seemed to effectively end the discussion.
However, it appears that the trolling has continued, with Pink’s son becoming the target of abusive comments over the weekend and the singer sharing a lengthy Instagram post in response.
Things all started when Pink shared an adorable photo of herself with her two children, Willow, 7, and Jameson, 2, hanging out with a pelican they’d found on vacation.
However, within hours, she’d deleted the image and replaced it with an updated version in which the lower half of Jameson’s body was scribbled over to cover the fact he wasn’t wearing a diaper — a detail she hadn’t been aware of until people had bombarded her with abusive comments.
“There’s something seriously wrong with a lot of you out there,” she wrote in the caption of the new image, “Going off about my baby’s penis? About circumcision??? Are you for real? As any normal mother at the beach, I didn’t even notice he took off his swim diaper.”
She added that she’d deleted the image because her followers were “fucking disgusting”, and went on to say: “I’m turning off my comments and shaking my head at the state of social media and keyboard warriors and the negativity that you bring to other people’s lives.”
And she ended the message with this savage, sarcastic comment: “Here’s a picture of the pelican we obviously caught and abused for hours before dangling baby penis in its face.”
Pink immediately disabled the comments on the post, but it’s so far received over 500,000 likes in support.
