Kanye West and Kid Cudi's "Kids See Ghosts" tour made its debut in LA over the weekend.
And one of the main talking points of the show was the suspended glass box in which the pair performed several songs.
However, it didn't take long before Lorde fans noted the similarity between Kanye and Cudi's staging and the floating box she had during her Melodrama tour last year.
Lorde worked with the designer Es Devlin — who has a 13 year working history with Kanye — to achieve her staging. At the time, she said that the suspended tank felt "interesting" and "new" at a time when it's hard to be original.
And now Lorde has commented on the similarities between the staging, accusing Kanye and Cudi of "stealing" her design.
Taking to Instagram, Lorde shared a series of photos comparing the two stages, starting with a photo from her tour earlier this year followed by a shot from Kanye and Cudi's show at the weekend.
She went on to share two more photos comparing her design on the left with Kanye's on the right.
And, in her final upload Lorde wrote: "Don't steal — not from women or anyone else."
Many people praised Lorde for speaking out.
However, others pointed out that Kanye's last solo tour — which began before Lorde's — also had unusual staging, with him performing on a suspended platform.
And others said the original idea likely came from her set designer, and that singers including Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga and Kendrick Lamar have all incorporated glass boxes into their staging over the years.
Spokespeople for Kanye West, Lorde and Es Devlin have been contacted for comment.
