Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are one of the most solid, down-to-earth, and loved-up couples in showbiz.
And Blake has now revealed that one of the reasons their marriage works is because they both understand how "weird" their job is.
Speaking on Good Morning America, Blake said:
In general, it's nice to have someone who understands what you're doing. Especially because our job is so weird – you have to be married to other people, it's all so strange. It's never normal, even when you're both doing it.
She went on to explain that being married to an actor means you understand what really goes down in the sex scenes.
Blake said:
It's helpful to know when you're acting that you're in a relationship with someone else, that that's not what's actually happening. Because I have friends who aren't married to someone who's in the business, so they're like: "Oh, so you're not actually making love in that scene?!" And I'm like: "No, no, no, no, definitely not."
Blake also commented on Ryan's infamous tweets about his life with her and their two daughters.
My daughter loves being buried up to her neck in sand at the beach. Her little face lights up when I come back to get her the next day.
Happy Birthday to my amazing wife.
In fact, she revealed that she lost her Twitter password ages ago and is actually relieved she doesn't have to see the tweets.
Blake said:
Luckily I lost my password to Twitter about a year and a half ago, so I haven't been able to keep up. Everybody's always asking about it, but I never know. He's so funny, but [needs] a lot of therapy.
