Angelina Jolie Revealed How She's "Coping" Since Brad Pitt Divorce

A visibly emotional Angelina revealed that the split has been a "difficult time", but she's hoping the family will move forward "closer and stronger".

The world was shocked in September last year when Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from Brad Pitt after 12 years as a couple and two years of marriage.

It was alleged that there had been an "incident" on board a private flight from Europe to California involving Brad and their children days before she filed for divorce.

Since then, the pair have been involved in a contentious custody battle.

Angelina has now spoken emotionally about the split for the first time since she filed divorce papers.

During an interview with BBC World, Angelina was asked whether she wanted to say anything about the "incident" that led to the separation.

She went on to emphasise how "difficult" she'd found the divorce.

But Angelina concluded by saying she hoped the split would eventually make the family "stronger".
