This Celeb Is Sick Of Being Branded A "4x4" Mum After Announcing Another Engagement

Natasha Hamilton has constantly been labelled a "4x4 mum" for having four children with four men. Now she's become engaged for the third time, she's sick of the abuse.

Natasha Hamilton may be one of the most successful popstars of the '00s as one third of Atomic Kitten, but these days she's subject of sexist trolling over her private life.

Natasha, 34, has four children by four different dads – leading to headlines constantly branding her a "4x4" mum.

Two months after her divorce from Riad, Natasha got together with fellow '00s popstar, Ritchie Neville.

Three months after the split from Ritchie, Natasha revealed she had a new non-famous man in her life, Charles Gay.

And, after a whirlwind relationship and romantic trip to New York, Charles proposed to Natasha, with her sharing the happy news on Instagram.

She shared a photo of the pair shortly after Charles popped the question, alongside the caption:

After the most wonderful time in New York with the man I love, I was so high on life, little did I know he was planning something very special....he proposed and I said yes! I've had such an emotional rollercoaster few days @charlesgay I'll be stuck on cloud 9 for a long time😍...this is just the beginning of our beautiful life together. I can't wait to see what adventures lie ahead. I love u xx

But because it's 2016 and everything is terrible, Natasha received a shed load of abuse after her announcement.

With plenty of people making this comment. 😔

And others suggesting she needs to "learn how to be single."

And many were speculating that she would soon be announcing a pregnancy.

And, of course, there were 4x4 references.

Well, Natasha has had enough, and has not only deleted every negative comment from her Instagram, but has released a message for the trolls, revealing the sexist undertones of their statements about her.

Speaking to MailOnline, Natasha explained she's fed up of the double standard between how men and womens' romantic relationships are perceived.

    She said:

I'm fed up with seeing men in the press act in whatever way they see fit, and never receive any backlash. If anything, their antics are lauded and applauded.

She went on to say that the level of abuse had shocked her, especially in light of recent world news.

    Natasha said:

In the grand scheme of things and with everything that's happened in the world in the last 12 months, I'm really very surprised that people can be bothered to busy themselves so much with my life. The level of abuse I've received on social media this morning [after announcing her engagement] is palpable. It's something I have had to just get used to.

However, Natasha concluded by saying that she wouldn't allow the trolling to ruin her happy moment.

    She said:

I am engaged to a lovely man. I'm happy, my family's happy and that's really all that matters to me. It's really no one else's business. I refuse to let other people's negative comments (strangers who don't know the first thing about me or my family) ruin a wonderfully joyous moment.
