People say that every workplace is different, but pretty much every single office worker has had these exact thoughts...
1. When you've worked at the company for 7000 years but still don't know how to actually transfer calls to the correct department
2. When someone calls a meeting to discuss things that could easily have been resolved in an email
3. When it's -20° but the Air Conditioning is STILL on
4. When you started the job with 50+ pens and now mysteriously have none
5. When you're off work for ONE day and some treacherous snek changes the height of your chair and you have to accept it will never go back to the perfect way you had it
6. When the sound of the office phone ringing haunts your dreams
7. Feeling the need to ask everyone what they're having for lunch EVERY DAY despite the fact no one has eaten anything different since 2001
8. When someone has the audacity to use your mug even though it's not actually your mug, but it's basically your mug
9. How time refuses to move between 3-4pm every day and you basically feel like you're stuck in the matrix
10. That feeling when you're in control of the music and someone compliments your DJ skills
11. When on Monday everyone agrees to go out for drinks at the end of the week, but it comes to Friday and you realise everyone's cancelled apart from Susan from HR
12. When you finish a presentation and ask 'Any questions?' and someone ACTUALLY asks a question
13. When there are only 10 people in your department but for some reason you're putting in money for 256 birthdays a year
14. When you ask if anyone wants a drink whilst silently praying no one says yes
15. When everyone claims to be poor af but still gets at least 10 Amazon and ASOS parcels delivered a day
16. When you go to make a coffee/tea and there's no milk and your day is pretty much now over
17. Sitting there thinking you and your work mates are so funny you should basically have your own office reality show
18. When you go to print off a single document, mess up and accidentally end up printing off every file in the system and the complete works of Shakespeare
19. When someone new is about to join the office and you basically all become social media FBI agents
20. When someone brings in food for everyone and basically becomes office hero for the day
21. When someone gets sassy with you and you hit them with that 'as per my last email'
22. When your work best friend has the audacity to be ill and leave you to face the wilderness alone
23. When you suggest to your friend you get a Deliveroo for lunch and suddenly you're ordering 20 burritos, 36 sushi boxes, 17 burgers and a dozen fillet steaks for half the office
