The Ceeps

Being the OG destination for a night out, this bar meets nightclub is a student and alumni favourite if you can actually show up early enough to make it in.

Lineup: Bring a lawn chair and maybe even a tent because you'll likely end up waiting a few people away from the front for over an hour. That is, unless you're willing to drop a $20 bill at the not so secret, secret back door.

Crowd: Expect to see everyone you know.

Experience: If you come here for a good time, a good time is what you'll get.

The Barking Frog

An always popular choice for those seeking a booth and bottles vibe, it never fails to be a good place to make bad descisions.

Lineup: The guest list line oddly always seems to be the longest, probably because everyone is friends with a promoter (or five).

Crowd: Unknown. It's too dark inside to see who keeps bumping into you while you're trying to drop it down low.

Experience: Maybe you had an amazing night. Maybe you peed in the opposite gender washroom. Maybe you got trampled. Maybe you don't even remember it.

Prohibition

Probably the first bar you ever hit up in London. You don't usually plan to go here, yet somehow you manage to end up here. Home to the legendary photo. You know which one.

Lineup: Moves decently quick, so make sure to enjoy the fresh air while you still can.

Crowd: A confusing mix of first years and the entire Jewish community.

Experience: You walked in expecting a nightclub and walked out realizing that it's actually a sauna.

Jack's

No matter how many assignments you have due, you always manage to rally for dollar beers.

Lineup: Past 9pm, it's your biggest nightmare. Even if it's deceptively short outside, prepare to be a few beers deep by the time you finally get upstairs.

Crowd: London locals downstairs, Western students upstairs.

Experience: Whether you danced on bar top, sang along to some classic tunes, or tested your beer limit, you probably left drunk enough to forget that you have 9am class the next morning.

Belfort

Definitely the wildest nightclub of all, this is where all your inhibitions go to die. If you think being a stripper is more attainable that your degree, this is a good place to practice your pole skills.

Lineup: Expect to be inside before the drugs kick in.

Crowd: An overpowering amount of Fanshawe students.

Experience: You'll probably wake up unsure of where your phone is and why there's confetti in your hair.

Cowboys

As a country bar, this is where you go to, well, listen to country music.

Lineup: You'll probably have to wait longer to ride the bull.

Crowd: A wide array of people decked out in flannel and denim.

Experience: A niche oriented bar means you pretty much get what you're going for.
