Readers Love This Anti-Blister Stick That's Under £5, So I Put It To The Test

Spoiler: It's my new summer essential!

For many years now, it's been a running joke that I can't go on holiday without getting several blisters on my feet.

I gave up hope of being able to buy a new pair of sandals for my holiday this year until I was introduced to Compeed's anti-blister stick!

It has 1,814 5-star reviews, and I desperately crave a blister-free holiday! PSA: my feet are super sensitive and they rub easily, so rest assured I won't be going easy on this product.

When it arrived I realised it was the ~perfect~ size for your handbag or pocket, and its portability is definitely important if you're on the go.

I applied it to any areas that my shoes usually rub – including the back of my heel, near the toes, and on the top sides of my feet.

I was worried that it would feel sticky or greasy, but once applied it wasn't very noticeable.

Of course, I had to put it to the test! I applied the balm on one foot, and left the other foot bare. Time to put on my sandals...

I walked around town for about an hour, and instantly felt my skin rubbing against the sandal on my balm-free foot. I think the difference between my two feet ~really~ speaks volumes:

This little blister-stick is an absolute game changer! I do think after a few hours of walking in warm weather you would need to reapply, but because of its teeny size I can't imagine that would cause an issue.

I never thought I would be so excited over a balm...but here we are. Some reviewers even mention it's great to use on your thighs if you suffer with chafing whenever you wear skirts or dresses.

Look, I really think you need to try it out for yourself! So nab your own trusty little stick before I take them all – just joking! (I'm not...)
