The golden eagle is a symbol of freedom and power. You are able to spend a long period of time in another surrounding and always finding your way. 
You are an all-seeing eye and would like to experience new places. 
You are an independent person who is looking for new adventures and trying to find out more about your strengths and knowledge. 

Therefore, you might be interested in long-term volunteering. Go abroad for up to 12 months with the support of the European Solidarity Corps (ESC). 
You can apply for a project you are interested in. Within your volunteering period you support your institution and enable exchange between nations. You will be able to learn a lot about new cultures and different people.

You are a Golden Eagle.

The whooper swan is Finland’s national bird. Most part of the year it spends in Finland but during harsh wintertime it lives abroad.  
You enjoy living in Finland – it is your natural living environment. You are feeling great surrounded by a lot of water, forests and the Finnish culture.
But from time to time you enjoy escaping due to different reasons.

You might be interested in short-term volunteering. This type of volunteering enables you to stay somewhere else you might be interested in without leaving your comfort zone for a long period of time. You can make up new projects for yourself and help others by inspiring and accompany them. Short-term volunteering projects are offered by the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) with grant.

Being a grey seal means to be mainly located in Finland. As being a discoverer, you enjoy learning new things in a playful way. That is why you are travelling a lot to enjoy the best sites of Europe. You are feeling comfortable wherever you go. But you also like to return back to your well-known environment to calm down.

You are the perfect candidate to exchange with other people on different topics abroad. If you have not tried out yet, you should inform yourself about international exchange programmes in another country with other youngsters you might be interested to get in touch with. Erasmus+ gives you possibilities to broaden your horizons almost for free!

You are very social and like to travel within Finland. You enjoy company by your family and friends. You are committed to your activities and society. That is why you not able to go abroad to find out more about new cultures and people. 

For that reason, you should try out international exchange within Finland. There are many projects offered by Erasmus+ you can participate at almost for free.
