    New Bear Statue At University Of Central Arkansas Is Sure To Turn Heads

    Otis is about to start his climb up Donaghey Hall.

    The University of Central Arkansas has finished construction on a their new residence hall, known as Donaghey Hall.

    Along with this new addition to the campus is Otis, the 3000 pound, metal bear who was created by UCA professor Bryan Massey.

    "I feel like it is going to be a landmark piece for Donaghey Hall and for the campus. It's going to be a unique piece of sculpture not only for UCA but for the city of Conway," Massey told the crowd after unveiling the sculpture model.

    Please keep in mind that no matter what your opinion of Otis is, Professor Massey worked hard on this and managed to create something permanent, something most people don't do in a lifetime!

    I believe Otis will be a positive symbol to the students of UCA. You don't have to be perfect to achieve greatness.
