Yes, you heard that right, makeup artists are now actually putting toilet paper on their lips and it looks incredible.
Toilet paper lips are here and we’re all for it. Greta Agazzi, the 24-year-old Italian makeup artist, coined the look in an Instagram post.
“I often try to create lip arts focused on the concept of texture. This time I wanted to go for a kind of gift wrap effect,” said Agazzi in an interview with Seventeen.
The look was created by delicately attaching toilet paper to her lips with eyelash glue. She cut the paper to fit her lips, then used a toothpick to add texture and crinkles. She finally painted matte and metallic liquid lipsticks over top.
Australian makeup artist Jazmina Daniel (who just so happens to be Jeffree Star’s lipstick model) has been creating lip art inspired by crushed diamonds and geodes. She uses gems, sequins, crushed seashells and seaglass to create her stunning looks.
Her seaglass lip tutorial is completely mesmerizing.
Time to run to the craft store, or your own bathroom, to get on this trend.
