From California to Alaska, these are some pretty spectacular places.
The 25,000 acre tree farm has been sold as dairy and agriculture land, but the entire area has not been cleared yet, so there is still a bit more time to visit this gorgeous farm.
This is an action sport wonderland. Snowboarding and skiing in the winter, jet skiing and hiking in the summer, and 39 trillion gallons of some of the purest water on the planet.
On the coast of California along the PCH. Hiking, surfing, and breathtaking views.
From fjords to the Northern lights, Alaska has so much to offer. Make sure to visit the Mendenhall Glacier, located in Juneau, before it disappears. This glacier formed in the Little Ice Age about 3,000 years ago and has been retreating at an alarming rate.
Found in the Columbia River Gorge, this 611-foot-tall waterfall is a sight to see any day of the year. Heavier falls can be seen in winter and spring.
Salt & Straw, Voodoo Doughnuts, and Powell's City of Books are a must. It gets pretty cold in the winter and on snow days many places will close, but that just means that you can use your time walking around the city and enjoying sights like Jamison Square Park.

One of my favorite places ever! Pike Place Market is the best in the morning when the vendors are still setting up and there aren't a lot of people. Enjoy a hot cup of coffee at Storyville as you overlook the marketplace or explore the art all around the Seattle Center.
Tip: to see the Seattle skyline, head over to Bainbridge Island by using the ferry
