A whopping 90% of Americans agree education beyond high school offers pathways for upward economic mobility.

What percentage of Americans do you think agree that college is a surefire way to make bank?  



Over four out of five Americans believe that federal and state governments should spend more taxpayer dollars on education after high school to make it more affordable.

91% of Republicans think it is important for colleges and universities to be transparent and provide publicly available data on key indicators of quality.

63% of Americans do not like admission preferences that consider whether someone’s parents went to a university (legacy status).

What percentage of Americans do NOT like it when colleges are more likely to let someone in just because one of their parents went to that same college?   



When it comes to holding colleges accountable, about 8 in 10 Americans – regardless of what political party they affiliate with – are in support of removing access to taxpayer dollars if colleges or universities have low graduation rates.

How many Americans would be happy for a college to lose some government funding if it didn’t have enough students graduating?   



Just over half of Americans opposed the idea that someone can get into college just because they’re good at sports.

Okay, but what percentage of Americans do NOT like it when colleges are more likely to let someone in because they’re good at sports?

Parents like telling their kids what to do. What percentage of Americans agreed that their children should enroll in an apprenticeship, technical degree, or bachelor's degree program after high school?

Only a third of Americans think higher education is fine the way it is.
