Let's begin with the background info:
Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again is premiering next summer, a decade after the release of the original Mamma Mia. We have *so* many question about the movie, but so far the only think we know is that star of ABBA Benny Anderson recently said “It's more of a prequel really, because it's about everything that happened before they ended up on Kalokairi island. It's Donna when she was young, Meryl Streep when she was young, and what happened when she met the three dads. As well as what happened after the previous film finishes. So it's a prequel and a sequel.”
WE NEED MORE DETAILS, BENNY! Will the sequel part pick up right after the film finishes? Amanda Seyfried is a new mom, will her character Sophie be a mom? Did she ever figure out who her Dad was? Do the characters of Mamma Mia know about DNA testing? Will there be another “Dancing Queen” scene (please, let there be another “Dancing Queen” scene)?

Cher’s tweet makes no sense but IT DOESN'T MATTER BECAUSE SHE IS CHER AND SHE IS IN MAMMA MIA 2. What we gather: Cher is playing Donna’s mom, and is going to sing Fernando. She’s very nervous, but she also has amazing boots, so she should have nothing to be worried about. Also, it’s CHER.
.... And Andy Garcia is going to be there?
The plot definitely revolves around the Dynamos in their younger days
So of course, there are amazing retro Dynamos outfits and Lily James being compared to David Beckham by her co-star.
And their boots are goals, of course:
Young Donna (Lily James) is spending a lot of time at sea, which make us think we will see all her adventures with Bill, Harry & Sam….
