Step 1: Wrap the lights into the tree first as this is the most difficult thing to change once your decorations are in place!

Step 2: Next on will be your garland.

Step 3: Distribute your baubles evenly around the tree.

Step 4: Adorn with your flowers.

Step 5: Nestle your painted pine cones among the branches.

Step 6: Add in the crowns sparingly (you can DIY these too for an extra homemade touch!).

White Christmas

* Tree flocking spray

* Christmas tree lights (white)

* White ornaments

* Fake flickering candles

* Pine cones

* White feathered doves

Step 1: Tree flocking spray is the best way to ensure that your tree looks like it’s been dusted in snow. It is available in spray form or in a bag, so you’ll need to follow the instructions given accordingly.

Step 2: With this decoration, you won't be putting the lights on the tree, but in the white fluff that surrounds it on the ground

Step 3. Next, add your white ornaments. The larger and more spaced apart, the better. Less is definitely more for this theme in order to balance the lights.

Step 4: Once your ornaments are on, it’s time for your snowflakes.

* Green ornaments (optional)

Step 1: Wrap the lights into the tree first! Hint: As a rule of thumb, you should use around 100 lights per foot.

Step 2: Next, place your garland.

Step 3: Add your ornaments, starting with the largest ones first and filling in spaces with the smaller ones.

Step 4: Mix in a few crackers where there is space.

Step 5: Add the ribbon by cascading it down from the top. This can be tricky, so don’t worry if you don’t nail it first time!

Step 6: Top with your bow to finish it off!

Hint: To make sure you get a good balance, add all the same colour before switching to the second.
