To Make Your EasiYo Yogurt
STEP 1: Half fill your EasiYo yogurt jar with room temperature drinking water (15-20°C). Add your preferred flavoured yogurt sachet, seal the lid and give it a shake. Top up the jar with more water, then seal the lid and shake once more.
STEP 2: Place the plastic insert into your yogurt maker as far as it can go. Add boiling water up to the top of the plastic insert, then place your jar into the EasiYo Yogurt Maker so it sits on top of the plastic insert and put the lid on.
STEP 3: Leave your EasiYo Yogurt Maker on the bench top (out of the sun) and leave to set for 8 -12 hours. Chill in the fridge before consuming.
Note: For this recipe, we used EasiYo Greek Style Natural Yogurt and EasiYo Strawberry Yogurt.
Flavour 1: Choc-Nut Greek Style Yogurt Bark
250ml EasiYo Greek Style Natural Yogurt
50g dark chocolate, melted
1 tablespoon roasted pistachios, roughly chopped
2 teaspoons dried cranberries, roughly chopped
1 teaspoon cacao nibs
STEP 1: On a large baking tray, cover with a large piece of baking paper.
STEP 2: Evenly spread the EasiYo Greek Style Natural Yogurt on half of the paper.
STEP 3: Using the melted dark chocolate, make dollops of melted dark chocolate onto the EasiYo Greek Style Natural Yogurt and with a toothpick or knife swirl it into the yogurt to form swirls.
STEP 4: Sprinkle the roasted pistachios, dried cranberries and cacao nibs over the EasiYo Greek Style Natural Yogurt.
STEP 5: Make the Summer Berry Yogurt Bark.
Flavour 2: Summer Berry Yogurt Bark
250ml EasiYo Strawberry Yogurt
125g fresh raspberries
1/2 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon freeze dried whole raspberries
1/2 teaspoon freeze dried raspberry powder
STEP 1: Evenly spread the EasiYo Strawberry Yogurt on the other half of the baking paper next to the EasiYo Greek Style Natural Yogurt.
STEP 2: In a small food processor, process the raspberries and honey until smooth.
STEP 3: Using the raspberry honey paste, make dollops of it onto the EasiYo Strawberry Yogurt and with a toothpick or knife swirl it into the yogurt to form a ripple effect.
STEP 4: Place the yogurt bark into the freezer for 3-4 hours to set.
STEP 5: Remove the yogurt bark from the freezer, then use a sharp knife to cut into shards.
STEP 6: ENJOY!
