Generation Why is a podcast by 2 guys who look into various crime cases, conspiracy theories and unsolved murder cases. It covers a range of cases that go from the 911 Conspiracy Theory, JonBenet Murder and the Mason Murders. All in all, every episode is different but equally interesting!

Disclaimer - Don't listen if you want to get to the end of unsolved mysteries. The podcast just gets your brain turning.

Favourite Episode: Episode 54 - Maura Murray - Maura disappeared in 2004 and hasn't been seen since. Where did she go? No-one knows.

Lea has such a soothing voice that can guarantee to entertain your flight, especially ideal for the shorter flights

Disclaimer - Skip all Love Hurts episodes. I love Lea but they were simply too much.

Favourite Episode: Henry and Jane - Henry and Jane are a married couple. A few years ago Henry suffered from a stroke but it shows how Henry and Jane now talk to each other and the sense of humour they still share.

4. My Dad Wrote a Porno

A different podcast where Jamie Morton reads out every child's worst nightmare. Jamie however has made it into a world wide sensation which I suppose he deserves after actually reading his dad's porno. Most episodes feature one chapter from Belinda Blinked, an erotic novella written by his Dad.

3. S-Town

S-Town is a new true crime podcast in the This American Life, Serial family. It is about a murder that happened in the small town in Alabama. Brian Reed, the narrator, started his journey 3 years ago. It has you guessing the whole way through and has so many twists and turns. This along with not knowing who you can trust makes it a top class listen.

Disclaimer - Like Serial, S-Town doesn't come to an end conclusion, but I'm sure that we will be hearing more from the story.

2. Limetown

Limetown is a story that I was hooked on for a few days, I breathed, ate and lived the story. It is about a fictional story about over three hundred women and children that disappeared from a small town in Tennessee. Lia Haddock (narrator) begins to uncover what happened. I eagerly await the second season.

This American Life is quite a well known podcast but what I like about it is the fact that every week there is a completely different episode. They range of different topics all of which are very interesting. Ira Glass has done the show for over 20 years now and has over 500 episodes. Needless to say you have an endless amount to choose from.

Favourite Episode: Switched at Birth - As the titles gives away it's about two baby girls that get switched at birth. However, they both live close to each other and one mother knew all along.
