    The Two Princes

A high quality LGBT fairy tale, that is well worth a listen.

    The Two Princes

The Two Princes is an LGBT fairy tale about two Princes from rival kingdoms who venture out to save their respective realms from an evil magic forrest. It can be found on Spotify, and is just fantastic!

    Prince Rupert

The main character, Rupert prince of the west, is this awkward, clever, crafty, sweet, and truly good person. He's painfully relatable, despite being royalty, and is a person you can't help but root(and cringe) for. He'll bring a smile to your face with every line.

    Prince Amir

Prince Amir of the east is confident, standoffish, brave, and unselfish. But as we get to know him more, he comes out of his princely she'll and we see his inner child(like how he's always wanted a dragon as a pet). I feel like he's the best love interest since Annabeth Chase! And that's a high bar.

    The delivery

It's similar to an audio book, as in it's a story being told via audio, but the only things we hear are the characters' lines and things like footsteps, splashes, and swords clanging. It makes for a really clean-cut feel. Despite not being explicitly told what is happening, the incredible sound effects make it obvious, but with subtlety. It's a fantastic experience and I wish I discovered it sooner.

    The story

While the whole fairy tale thing has been done to death, and this even takes place largely in an (evil) enchanted forest, it has such an interesting twist on many aspects of the same tropes. I don't want to spoil, but I will say it's as ingenious as OUAT season 1.

    The Worldbulding

As I said before, they do clever twists on things. One of these is the creatures. They have to face a hydra at one point, and each of it's seven heads asks a different riddle. Something normally reserved for a spinyx. Other creatures with clever twists include: sirens, plant monsters, wizards/witches, etc... This story also contains a prophecy, an overprotective mother, an overbearing mother, and two kingdoms at each other's throats. It's super cool and we'll established.

    Summary

In short, I highly recommend this as it's a fantastic story on an amazing forum. If you haven't already, go check it out. It's on Spotify and the first episode is about 16 minutes. Well, what are you waiting for?
