You only appears at the best parties and you know how to make people gasp but no one would dare slide down your banister. If you had a name, it would probably be Lucinda or Jasper. When people ascend you, their on the staircase to heaven.

Oh dear. You're a bit of a mess. Careful everyone, it's the broken staircase over here... they may give you a splinter. You're too messy to be in anybody's house and poor them if they have to ascend or descend you because if they did, they'll be ascending into the pearly gates of heaven.

Perhaps you will be a staircase one day but that depends on what Carrie the Carpenter decides... maybe you'll be a wooden woodpecker instead. Jesus Christ! You're out of control. No one knows why you're like this because you just make everyone dizzy as hell. But you're funky and you make climbing an experience. Maybe you're ascending up an ivory tower where there is a tea room and OMG IS THAT THE QUEEN? Or maybe you're just spiralling out of control. But either way, you like being outside the box and people would choose you over going up the straight and narrow any day!
