10 Things You Experience While Attending The LA Times Book Festival

It's that time of year when Book Nerds of every age gather at the USC Campus to celebrate their favorite pastime

    1. First, you try to map out your route through all of the tents

Do you hit up the Comics first? Maybe The Jane Austen Society booth to start the day?

    2. You push through the line to covet the envious free HOY! tote

    3. Walking directly into a living scene from a book

    4. Debating on which food truck line you should wait in for your lunch

Do you need a sushi burrito?

    5. Carefully picking out titles to take full advantage of the bargain book tents

    6. Running into one of your favorite authors that you didn't expect to be there

I'm sorry Ann Brashares... I didn't pay enough attention.

    7. Not pushing strangers out of the way to finish the public crossword puzzle

"You don't know 38 down then move! You're holding up the line!"

    8. Spotting titles through various bodies as you scan the shelves from afar

    9. Stuffing your free totes with titles you've been meaning to read for years

    10. And finally just enjoying the day being surrounded by books and people that love them!
