Yo--You Gotta Masturbate!

Just because you're stuck to your space doesn't mean you have to tone it down. You've got the drive, you've got the energy, now just find your moves! Get going weightlifting in the basement, playing with pets in the living room, flowing to music in the backyard, skating down the street, doing yoga in the bedroom, or karate in the kitchen. Maybe even...breaststrokes in the bath? Let that adrenaline kick in and practice it daily. What the hell, you've got the time, do it twice a day!

Activate That Bod!

There's some serious emotions brewing up there, and you might find it hard to communicate these feelings with others, so try expressing 'em artistically. Squeeze out your soul through a tube of paint, or declutter your brain (and your space) by making use of all those plastic grocery bags or piles of broken-down cardboard. Give yourself that haircut your mom never wanted you to get, or try doing your makeup with markers. Bleach-dye a shirt, write a pandemic poem or song, I dunno, maybe even... make a BuzzFeed quiz?

Channel Creative Energy!

It's okay to slow it down and focus on your wellbeing. Give yourself a break, you're going through sh*t! When was the last time you took an entire day for bubble baths, long walks, and 3 home-cooked meals? Try easy, feel-good activities like dollin' yourself up for no reason, pinning up posters, or making a playlist. Don't even glance at that to do list, just let yourself float through the day(s). We all have a backed up list of books, movies, or TV shows we've been meaning to get around to... don't feel rushed to navigate your way through it all, just start at the top and take it day by day.

Chill Out, M'Dear!

Most people are feeling lonely in this time of isolation, and being unable to see friends or family can take a serious mental toll. It's more important than ever to keep up with loved ones, even if you're just sending memes back and forth on Instagram. Try writing a heartfelt email to that old boss, professor, or mentor who helped shape you into the person you are today. Reach out to your childhood best friend, extended family, or an ex you've wished to have back in your life. If you live with other people, make a little more effort to get together for game nights, movie nights, and group meals. And finally... Video chat, video chat, video chat! It's the closest we can come to meeting up, and we'll just have to make-do for now.

Keep Connected!

Money is tightttt as many of us have been laid off and businesses have slowed down. It can be extraordinarily stressful when financial stability vanishes so quickly, but there are still options for income and survival. File for unemployment and food stamps. Find community organizations offering food and supplies. Talk to your landlord about freezing rent or rent reductions. If you're an artist or own a business, look into emergency grants. Use your skills to make a little extra cash! Whether you're producing goods, selling nudes, streaming on Youtube or Twitch, or using your car to run errands for others, there's always going to be a demand for SOMETHING. Sit down and brainstorm; "what do I have, or what can I do, that others value?". If you can't find cash, resort to the bartering system! Lastly, Don't be afraid to reach out to loved ones for a little extra money to help you through, spreading the love and wealth is crucial in times like this.
