Everyone knows growing up that trying to break the wishbone is so much fun. I don't know if it's the competition, or getting to make a wish is what makes it great, but the wishbone definitely makes eating turkey more fun! Can a ham make your dreams come true? I don't think so!

4. The Left Overs

There is nothing, and I MEAN NOTHING like Thanksgiving Leftovers. You can go classic with Turkey Soup, or get creative with things like Thanksgiving Pizza (I know it sounds weird but it is SO GOOD). The options are endless. I also have a theory that Thanksgiving dinner is even better a few days after!

3. Tryptophan

That's right! I am a fan of Tryptophan! For those that don't know, tryptophan is an amino acid that is found in high protein foods like turkey, and it is the reason you feel sleepy after dinner. You are guaranteed to get the best nights sleep from it, and it is one reason that I love Turkey. A good night's sleep is definitely something to be thankful for!

2. Fried Turkey

Let's face it. Anything that is fried is just better! Fried turkey is so crispy, and super flavorful, and has become a Thanksgiving tradition in many households. Might not be the healthiest, but for a Holiday dedicated to giving thanks, and eating I think you can cheat on your diet! Just make sure you follow proper safety standards! No one wants a fried human!

The reason we all eat turkey in the first place is to give thanks to what we all have in our lives. This is truly something I look forward to every year, and I love doing it with the people I am closest with! There are also some awesome ways to make your Turkey Butterball-in! I honestly couldn't imagine taking part in this amazing tradition without a Thanksgiving turkey!
