Everyday I'm Crumbling And Other Monday Musings.

The guy, or girl, who invented Happy Hour or Taco Tuesdays has nothing on me.

    Monday musings.

I have decided to start a new 'Monday Musings' post and hope you all get the hang of it – from here on in refer to me as the breaking news section but on a much lower scale. I would like to think of its pending popularity to be on par with the success achieved by the guy, or girl, who invented Happy Hour or Taco Tuesdays. Work with me.

    Everyday i'm crumbling.

In true blogging form I would like to talk about myself for a snippet of time before getting to the crux of oozing info. I spent most of the weekend logging and crumbling. Who would have thought picking apples from your garden and baking them would make you so blissfully happy? Country living does that to you. It takes you by the rural horns and changes the pace of your past city life. I write this with the illusion and tone that I am one of the characters from The Little House on the Prairie.

So, be a trooper, put on your kettle or open an incognito tab – if you're sitting at your work desk – and join me in reveling over some of cyberspaces finest finds:

Can I have a quick show of hands for those that think hummus is the bee's knees? I see the entire carriage of my jam packed commuting train raising both their hands because naturally this Egyptian food group is the coronation chicken of today. Although the Hummus Place is situated in LA, I have since added it to my eatery bucket list and you should too.

I read the same material as President Obama.

As if my Autumn reading list wasn't chock-a- block enough, I voted for President Obama's Essential Reading List to boost my intelligent picks.

    Cheese maketh the wine.

I would say wine and cheese are the most pleasing partners – aside from rivalling hummus and crackers – that should be consumed every evening. French scientists have revealed that eating aromatic cheeses before drinking nasty wine enhances the cheap taste. Drive to Tesco now for your 'Everyday Value Bottle of Blanc' and it will taste just like that 20 quid Sauvignon. Let The Telegraph explain more.
