1. Montrose Dog Beach


Location: 4400 North Lake Shore Drive.

This lovely off-leash dog beach's entrance is located at the North West Corner of Montrose Beach. There is a $5 tag fee, and it is only open daylight hours.

3. Mercury Canine Cruise


Location: Use 112 East Wacker Drive (for GPS Navigation).

This fantastic canine cruise is only departing on Saturdays and Sundays, July 11 - October 4, 2015. Relax with your pooch and enjoy an informative historic architectural tour, while cruising down the Chicago River for 90 minutes. Tickets are $31 for adults, $11 for kids under 12, $8 for dogs, and kids under 3 ride free. Groups of 20 or more, call 312-332-1368. 5. Wiggly Field


Location: 2645 North Sheffield Avenue.

This adventurous public fenced-in off-leash dog park has doggie water fountains, waste bags, and a double gate to prevent escapes.

6. Belmont Harbor Beach


Location: US 41 & West Belmont Avenue.

This beautiful beach has a small fenced in beach for dogs, which you can let your best-friend run free (off-leash).

7. Chopin Dog Park


Location: 3420 North Long Avenue.

This leisurely park allows you to enjoy a scenic view with your dog on-leash, or let them run free in the off-leash dog section.

11. Park No. 546 Dog Park


Location: 450 East Benton Place.

This splendid off-leash dog park can be found in the middle of Lake Shore East Park, beautiful neighborhood, plenty of shade, and it's fenced-in.
