You're new to this, and probably new to life in general. Some things feel like a surprise, even when they shouldn't. Don't get me wrong, ninth grade is a new (and very big) year of your high school time, but don't rush it. Enjoy it while it lasts, and don't get into things too quickly. You don't need to conquer high school on the first day! That's not how it works, and it's okay.

Freshman Year

Ah, the glory days. No big tests, college is too far ahead, and you're already comfortable with high school in general. Tenth grade is about as fun as it gets, so love and cherish it while you have it. Your friends, SO, and family are waiting to spend time with you, so, do it! This probably describes the point you're at in life now. Well, like I said, it's the best it gets, so do whatever you want!!!

Sophomore Year

SATs, AP classes, college applications. You're stressed and busy. But, you're livin' ya life, and it's fun too. Though you don't have much time for your besties and boyfriends (or girlfriends), when you spend time with your loved ones, it's worth it. 11th grade, am I right?

Junior Year

The last year of high school is definitely for you. The words lazy, laid-back, and wanting-to-be-out-of-here-already fit you to a T. The only rush of adrenaline you get is from opening your college acceptance (or rejection) letters, and that also describes your life. In your everyday life, there isn't much excitement, but like senior year, you enjoy spending quality time with friends, family, and loved ones.
