If you have been debating on seeing Kong Island let me do you a solid by saying do not waste your money. Why would I say this? Because with this series if you've seen one you've seen them all. This movie almost exactly mirrors the last King Kong that was released in 2005. I understand that this has been a series that is recreated but it is time to give this series a rest. There was absolutely no creativity in this movie. The only thing different from this release and the 2005 release is that King Kong does not enter the city. Everything else is the exact same. This movie series is no longer one that needed to be revitalized though it has turned into a series that a company knows they can capitalize on.
