10 Really Irritating Teen Drama Characters

Is there ever that character that just gets under your skin? Like they come on the screen and you cringe? Here are some of those characters. In no order.

Ani Achola - 13 Reasons Why

,She was literally a random addition in the middle of the show that was unnecessary. She was always putting her two cents in on things she had no clue about. She really was there to make us feel bad for Bryce being murdered. Which, let's face it, we didn't. She acted like she knew him her whole life when everyone else around her, including his former friends, knew he was a dirtbag rapist who got what was coming to him.

Paige McCullers - Pretty Little Liars

Paige tried to drown Emily due to jealousy because she was a star swimmer and out of the closet as a lesbian. There's a start. She proceeded to date Emily and stick her nose where it didn't belong. When Emily's friends didn't like her (thinking she was A) she tried to manipulate her into ditching her friends for her. She never tried to understand why the girls were doing what they were doing either. She wouldn't listen, as if she were the one being threatened by A. And telling the cops Alison was alive "to keep Emily safe", please. She was constantly jealous of Alison and Emily's relationship even when Alison was "dead". That's some pretty bad jealousy issues if you're jealous of someone who you think is dead. Then when Alison was (unwillingly) pregnant and Emily kept it a secret, Paige got mad and assumed Alison was up to something. When Emily finally told her, she was having drinks with her and acted as if she were the one that had the huge crisis. She was just always selfish and nobody likes a selfish, jealous, obsessive girlfriend.

Brandon Foster - The Fosters

Brandon was the pretty boy who got everything he wanted. He would make idiotic mistakes over and over again just for a girl and sometimes just in general. Stealing his moms keys to get into the school to make fake ID's comes to mind. Oh, and then there's sleeping with his fathers girlfriend...as well as his foster sister. He complained about everything when he had to watch his siblings suffer due to their previous family situations. He got everything he wanted and barely had to deal with the consequences of his actions.

Matt Donovan - The Vampire Diaries

Matt always tried to be the hero and always failed. Like, you're living in a world of vampires. A normal gun isn't going to kill them, even wooden ones won't, they just knock them down for a little. Then sure enough, they're fine. He never fully grasped that concept. He was so against vampires but then half of his friends were vampires...or a witch, werewolf, etc. It's all he talked about. If you're so pissed then leave town. He acted better than everyone else because he was human and "didn't do anything wrong". His problems could've been solved easily if he just left town.

Tristan Milligan - Degrassi

He complained about anything and everything. He got into everyones business. He shamed Miles for his sexuality as if he didn't know what he was when in fact he was bi. He pressured Zoe to come out when he knew her mom was super religious. He dropped Maya for telling someone about their creepy teacher trying to get with him. He was devastated because he was "in love". He was in love with every guy that gave him attention. Felt bad for him after the bus crash but other than that he was mostly unbearable.

Karma Ashcroft - Faking It

Put simply: She was selfish, needy, and whiney. She just kept leading Amy on constantly! At first to turn Liam on but then when Amy finally found someone she really liked she clung to her as if THEY were dating and she ruined it! There's too much more about her, but too little time.

Debbie Gallagher - Shameless

Shameless is not exactly a teen drama, but she's a teen so, screw it. She tricked a guy into getting her pregnant at 14 years old. Then was pissed when he didn't want her. What normal person would? She did this knowing her family was poor and unstable as it was! She always needed help with Franny (as she should at that age) and expected everyone to drop their lives to help. They didn't sign up for this, you did! She was just whiney in general too.

Marina Nunier Osuna - Elite

She thought she deserved anything and everything. She was always playing the victim. She cheats on a Samuel with his brother and gets pregnant! She was going to run away with his brother without saying goodbye. That's low. What's even lower is pretending to rekindle a friendship with her old best friend Carla, who is suffering, just to help her boyfriend steal watches in an attempt to sell them for money. I wouldn't say she got what she deserved, but she did a lot of people wrong. I wasn't sad to see her go, tbh.

Ruby Martinez - On My Block

He was always so desperate for a girlfriend, then when Jasmine came around, knowing she liked him, he'd avoid her like she had a disease. Sure, she's a little weird but it's not like he's doing any better! He's always thinking he's better than the others too. He says all his problems came from Caesar and his family and the gang. Okay, so when you found out he was in a gang, why did you become friends with him again? Maybe staying away would've helped? It's his own fault if he wants to talk about all his problems stemming from all of that.

Dan Humphrey - Gossip Girl

After 6 seasons you're telling me that Gossip Girl started with Dan Humphrey being Gossip Girl?! After all that. He acted like he was so much better than everyone else and now that we know that, it makes no sense. It never made sense, but now it's just mind blowing. Purposely embarrassing your friends by putting their secrets out there for everyone to see and at times getting them into MAJOR trouble? Yeah, you're so much better than everyone, Dan. Serena deserved better. There really aren't words to describe how irritating Dan Humphrey was.
