Father of the Kim Family, he tries his best to provide for his two children despite being out of work. He replaces the Parks' disgraced driver and cunningly helps to dispose of Moon-gwang, the Parks' longtime housekeeper. Daughter of the Kim family, Ki-Jeong poses as an art therapist. She uses her knowledge from one quick google search to fool the Park matriarch, Yeon-Kyo, into paying her higher fees for conducting therapy sessions with the Parks' son.

Patriarch of the Park family, Dong-Ik is the stereotypical rich man with a large house and a thriving family. He seldom bothers himself with family affairs, leaving important household decisions up to his wife. However, he always goes the extra mile for his son, even dressing up as an American 'Indian' to celebrate his son's birthday.

Park Dong-Ik

Matriarch of the Park family, Yeon-Kyo gullibly hires all four members of the Kim family, falling for Ki-Jeong's framing of the old chauffeur and Ki-Taek's false accusations of the longtime housekeeper contracting tuberculosis.

Park Yeon-Kyo

Four years in a secret basement under the Park family home have driven Geun-Sae to the point of insanity. Hiding from loan sharks with the aid of his wife (the old housekeeper), Geun-Sae ends up trapped in the basement with no supply of food after the Kims take over the Park household.

Oh Geun-Sae

Longtime housekeeper of the Parks' family home, she knows the house better than the Parks themselves. She runs the household, washing the Parks' clothes, slicing fresh fruits for the children (but no peaches, of course), and whipping up some of her signature Ram-Don. Unbeknownst to the Parks and Kims, she harbours a dark secret in the basement of the mansion.
