The boy allegedly took a photo of his black classmate, then made a listing on Craigslist for a "Slave for sale (Naperville)," with a racist slur in the caption.
"This was obviously a racially motivated crime," one police official said.
"You just had to love her," one of Gracie Muehlberger's friends said. "She always had a smile on her face."
A 16-year-old student shot five others at the school before shooting himself in the head, authorities said.
