    Brand name snacks!

Recently, @SsssamanthaaMUA asked folks on Twitter what they considered the pinnacle of wealth as a child and some of the responses might really resonate with you!

what was the pinnacle of wealth to you as a child?

    1. Imagine not having to refill ice trays all the time.

    2. Olive Garden and Red Lobster definitely seemed like five star restaurants.

@lustrelux @SsssamanthaaMUA Families who ate at restaurants! I had never even been to an Olive Garden until I was an adult. Also families that had cable tv.

    3. Stairs in your home = commas in your bank account balance.

@SsssamanthaaMUA Also, people who lived in 2-story houses. The RICHEST

    4. Toasted Pastries lacked the quality (and the frosting) of a real Pop-Tart.

@SsssamanthaaMUA A pantry full of gushers, fruit by the foot, and only name brand snacks/cereals

    5. Bonus refrigerator? Y'rich.

@SsssamanthaaMUA having an extra fridge in the garage just for drinks

    6. Two consoles? Y'wealthy.

    7. That beautiful-ass swirly ice cream cake was definitely a sign of having monies.

    8. Grocery delivery is still luxury to this day.

@SsssamanthaaMUA People who got food from the “schwans man”

    9. Or the box of 64 with the sharpener!

    10. Something about these.

    @SsssamanthaaMUA These ligh switches....... lmao

    11. It was basically like having a chauffeur.

@SsssamanthaaMUA people who’s parents drove them to school instead of taking the bus or walking

    12. Road tripping to a vacation was one thing, but...

@SsssamanthaaMUA Families that went on family vacations... on a plane especially

    13. Tampico was the solid, cheap version.

    14. When you've only experienced off-brand bagged cereal, seeing those mini boxes is really something.

    15. Cameras weren't cheap/all over the place back in the day, so for some of us, childhood footage is RARE.

    16. Once in a while? Sure, but every single day?!

    17. And finally, I'm not quite sure how, but there was a very wealthy vibe around watching Disney Channel.
