1. What are the benefits of Meditation?

Meditiation teaches you how to understand yourself and is seen as one of the most effective forms of stress reduction. Meditiation improves your overall quality of life by increasing your memory retention and focus. It also helps to reduce health care costs by lowering anxiety, depression, and stress while increasing your immune system and energy level. Lastly, it can aid in you finding true happiness, inner peace and self-gratification.

3. How do I know I’m doing it right?

While meditating, you allow your thoughts, emotions, and whatever else may arise come and go as you keep yourself in the present moment. You remain unchanging, giving those outside elements no response. It is not about sitting in a blank state, clearing your mind, blocking your emotions, or trying to make your emotions go away… it is about accepting them!

4. Meditation can get boring. Is there any way to keep it stimulating?
